±«Óãtv's District Accountability Committee (DAC) is accepting applications from those who would like to serve in the 2023-24 school year.
The DAC is made up of parent and school representatives who work together to offer recommendations about the district's spending priorities, improvement plan, and charter schools to the ±«Óãtv Board of Education. The DAC, required by the Colorado Accountability Act, also works to increase the level of parent engagement in the district. This important work is facilitated by a committee that is representative of the diversity of the district.
The committee meets once per month, typically on the third Wednesday, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the board room at the Johannsen Support Services Center, 2407 LaPorte Ave. in Fort Collins.
The DAC is accepting applications for the following positions for the 2023-24 school year:
- Parent/guardian of a student in ±«Óãtv's Early Childhood Program
- Parent/guardian of an elementary student
- Parent/guardian of a student who is an English language learner
- Parent/guardian of a student in ±«Óãtv's Gifted and Talented Program
- Parent/guardian of a child supported by Integrated Services
- ±«Óãtv elementary principal
- Parent/guardian of a high school student (second term incumbent running)
- Parent/guardian of a student who is an ethnic minority (second term incumbent running)
- Business community representative (second term incumbent running)
- ±«Óãtv teacher (second term incumbent running)
- ±«Óãtv instructional classified employee (second term incumbent running)

Application Guidelines
- All applications must be submitted in an electronic format, totaling no more than three pages.
- Applications may be single or double spaced.
- Members of the current DAC review applications and make recommendations for appointing new members.
