The ±«Óãtv remains dedicated to providing the best learning experience for our students. This commitment will continue and strengthen with the establishment of a new committee aimed at discussing the technology ecosystem in ±«Óãtv both in and beyond the classroom.
The Learning, Media, and Digital Ecosystem Committee is a newly established group focused on ensuring districtwide coherence in instructional tools and technologies for teaching and learning at all ±«Óãtv schools.
The primary function of this group is to provide recommendations to ±«Óãtv¡¯s Curriculum and Instruction and Information Technology Departments regarding the student digital learning ecosystem, the collection of hardware and software tools and services that support and impact teaching and learning in ±«Óãtv.
The group will focus on the following topics:
- Media and information literacy
- Digital ecosystem management
- Safety and security
- Equity and accessibility
- Innovation
The ultimate goal is to strengthen districtwide coherence in technology and ensure that students are best prepared for the digital world that they are growing up in.
This group ¨C made up of ±«Óãtv educators, administrators, and technical staff ¨C will meet monthly starting in September. More information on what the group is discussing and working on can be found on this website as the year goes on.
