The ±«Óãtv Board of Education voted Tuesday to approve the district calendar for the 2024-25 school year. It mirrors that of the current school year calendar, with:
±«Óãtv is proud to announce the new principals for Fossil Ridge High School and Poudre Community Academy.
±«Óãtv is pleased to announce that Emily Bickerton has been named the district¡¯s new director of Human Resources.
Bickerton began her HR career in public education in 2016. She held different HR roles in Englewood Schools, Jeffco Public Schools, and at HRx, a small HR consulting company, before coming to ±«Óãtv in 2022. She began her new position as director in July; she was previously the assistant director of HR.
The ±«Óãtv Board of Education and superintendent invite members of the ±«Óãtv community to participate in an upcoming community engagement session from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Fossil Ridge High School, 5400 Ziegler Road in Fort Collins.
The primary focus of this session will be district long-range planning. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue with Board of Education directors and the superintendent about district long-range planning.
Currently, ±«Óãtv has identified 7% more students experiencing some form of homelessness or housing insecurity as compared to the same time last year.
