Timnath Girls¡¯ Cross Country Goes Back-to-Back as State Champions

The Timnath High School girls¡¯ cross country team has etched their name into Colorado history once again, winning the Class 4A State Championship for the second year in a row. Competing in Colorado Springs this November, the team claimed the title with 107 points, showcasing their depth and resilience. Guided by Head Coach Matt Miltenberg, the squad repeated their 2024 championship run with another all-team effort in 2025, proving that every runner mattered in bringing home back-to-back state titles.

Four-Peat Victory for Fossil Ridge High School Marching Band!

The Fossil Ridge High School Marching Band has once again proven its dominance, capturing the Colorado Class 5A State Championship for the fourth consecutive year in a stunning performance at the U.S. Air Force Academy. Scoring 89.550 and sweeping every judged category¡ªmusic, visual, and general effect¡ªthe SaberCats outperformed the competition by 1.1 points. This victory marks their eighth state title in just 14 years, solidifying Fossil Ridge as a true powerhouse in Colorado marching band history.

Important Attendance Update for October

With the school year off and running, we are proud of our students for showing up each and every day.

We are fast-approaching an important attendance milestone that occurs every year: the Colorado Department of Education¡¯s official ¡°October Count.¡± October Count measures how many students are enrolled and attending in districts across the state; the official count date is Wednesday, October 1.

Back-to-School Immunization Clinics

The Larimer County Department of Health & Environment is making it easier for families to stay up to date on vaccinations this fall. A series of free and low-cost vaccine clinics will be held at schools and community sites across the county, offering essential immunizations for children and adults.

The clinics are open to children ages 4 and older and their families who are uninsured, underinsured, or enrolled in most Medicaid plans. Services will include:

  • Children: All school-required vaccines, depending on supply.
